Palo Colorado Software was founded in 1989 by Tim Callahan. Before then Tim was a software developer and project manager for several companies in the life sciences, financial, legal, and manufacturing sectors. Tim graduated with honors from the University of Michigan with a BSE in Computer Engineering.

Nancy Rosenquist joined Palo Colorado Software in 1992. Before then Nancy was an elementary school teacher where she was involved her district's technology planning committee. Nancy has degrees from the University of Michigan and San Francisco State University.
