Palo Colorado is a name used for the coastal redwood trees (Sequoia sempervirens) found in parts of California. Redwood trees symbolize our commitment to high value long term relationships. The original inspiration for our name came in 1989 during a trip to a favorite spot on the central California coast near Big Sur.
Palo Colorado Software is located in Oakland's Montclair district where Redwood Regional Park contains the largest remaining stand of redwoods in the East Bay.
